ALL that area containing by admeasurement 298 acres 1 rood 12·4 perches, more or less, being part Waihora D Block, situated in Block XVI, Mangatu, and Block XIII, Waingaro-mia Survey Districts, and being all of the land comprised and described in C.T. 28/225. M.L. Plan 785 and S.O. Plan 957.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.A. 52/301 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Declaring Land, Gisborne Land District, in the Gisborne - East Coast Acclimatisation District, to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1,430 acres, more or less, being Section 2, Block I, Ngatapa Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 84, folio 37.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.A. 52/300 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of July 1956.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of August 1956.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of August 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 30·88 perches.

Being Lot 3, D.P. 15828, being part Section 78, Township of Waverley. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 583, folio 225, Wellington Registry.

Situated in Block VII, Wairoa Survey District, Town District of Waverley.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes near Tuatapere to the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Wallace County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of railway land allocated to road: 12·1 perches.

Being part railway land adjoining part Section 9, Block XIII, Waiau Survey District, Wallace County. (S.O. 6284.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14220 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Licensing the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Limited to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of the Waihou River Near Netherton as a Site for a Pipe Line

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 22nd day of May 1956

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Limited (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Waihou River near Netherton, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10021 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a pipe line as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the company shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

  3. The pipe line shall be lighted.

  4. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1956.
