WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council, at its meeting held on the 9th day of September 1955, has resolved to prepare for the County of Wanganui in the two sections described in the Schedule below, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Wanganui County District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk, and delivered at the County Clerk's office, 7 Campbell Place, Wanganui, on or before the 30th day of September 1956.

SCHEDULE

Scheme No. 1 (Urban Area)

The area of land in the County of Wanganui lying between the city boundary and approximately a circle of 3 miles radius with centre at the Chief Post Office, leaving the Wanganui River at Kaimatira Road and meeting the coast at the mouth of the Kaitoke Stream, and more particularly defined on a map coloured green which is deposited for public inspection at the County office.

Scheme No. 2 (Rural)

The area comprising the balance of the County and coloured black and white with red border on a map deposited for public inspection at the County office, Wanganui. 905

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Wairoa County District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's office on or before 27 September 1956.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

An Act to reconstitute the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporated and to change its name.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporated intends to apply by petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at its present session for leave to apply to bring in a private Bill, the short title of which is "An Act to reconstitute the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporated and to change its name", to effect the following objects:

(a) To change the name and constitution of the body corporate incorporated under the provisions of the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporation Act 1941 and to adopt the name "The Boy Scouts Association of New Zealand" as the name of the said body corporate.

(b) To provide for the formal recording of such change of name in all instruments, titles, and other documents.

(c) To vest in the Boy Scouts Association of New Zealand all the properties and the powers and authorities vested in the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporated.

(d) To provide for the adoption, registration, and amendment of the constitution and bylaws of the Boy Scouts Association of New Zealand.

(e) To repeal the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporation Act 1941.

The promoter of the Bill is the Boy Scouts Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporated whose address for the service of communications or notices is at the offices of Messrs Luke, Cunningham, and Clere, Solicitors, 328 Lambton Quay, Wellington C. 1.
