A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a teacher's residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of August 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 4055, being part Rural Section 384, Township of Carnarvon.
Situated in Block VIII, Te Kawau Survey District. (S.O. 23583.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151000 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to water and pipe-line rights created by memoranda of transfer Nos. 63825 and 71514, Hawke's Bay Land Registry, for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of August 1956.

Easements Over Land and Land Taken for an Electric-power Substation in the Borough of Riccarton

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that easements for an electric-power substation are hereby taken over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Riccarton (hereinafter referred to as “the Corporation”) as from the date hereinafter mentioned, the full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of underground cables of any size or nature whatsoever and to lay, construct, put up, and place overhead electric lines and poles in, under, along, and over the land described in the said First Schedule, and to convey electricity through the said cables and electric lines together with the further right for the Corporation, its servants, agents, and workmen to enter upon the said land from time to time, by day and by night, with trucks, motor vehicles, and machinery of all description, laden or unladen, for the purposes of opening up the soil and inspecting, repairing, renewing, maintaining, operating, and testing the said underground cables and overhead electric lines and poles and all other electrical equipment whatsoever, and also with all other materials, plant, and equipment necessary to repair, rebuild, renew, alter, or extend the electric-power substation of the said Corporation, such easements to be held appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the said Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electric-power substation and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Riccarton as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of August 1956.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 95 acres 2 roods 34 perches.
Being part land on D.P. 517, being part Tatua West No. 1363 Block. All certificate of title, Volume 481, folio 259, Auckland Land Registry.
Situated in Block VII, Te Atiamuri Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of July 1956.
