Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150936 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Situated in the City of Timaru, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8913.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150884 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Approximate area of the piece of street closed: 35·4 perches. Adjoining Lot 119, and Lots 153 to 160 (both inclusive), D.P. 37891, being part Allotment 8, Section 1, Parish of Takapuna.
Situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District, Borough of Takapuna, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39519.) In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150935 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Land Vested in the Crown to be Free from Samoan Title

A PROCLAMATION
Whereas it is enacted by section 282 of the Samoa Act 1921 that a Proclamation by the Governor-General that any land vested in the Crown is free from Samoan title shall in all Courts and in all proceedings be accepted as conclusive proof of the fact so proclaimed; and whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is land vested in Her Majesty in right of the Government of Western Samoa by virtue of a conveyance dated the 6th day of June 1956 from the Alii and Faipule of Leulumoega, now, therefore, pursuant to section 282 of the Samoa Act 1921, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that the said land is free from Samoan title.
SCHEDULE
All that piece or parcel of land containing an area of three acres one rood fourteen point seven perches (3 a. 1 r. 14·7 p.), more or less, situated on the Cross Island Road, inland of Leulumoega, in the District of A’ana, and described as Parcel 373, Flur XV, Upolu, as the same is more particularly delineated on Plan 79U/XVS deposited at the office of the Chief Surveyor at Apia.

Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land and Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
