DRAGLINES (N.Z.) LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of Draglines (N.Z.) Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 2nd day of July 1956 the shareholders resolved that, as a special resolution, by memorandum signed for the purpose of becoming an entry in the minute book of the company as provided by subsections (1) and (3) of section 300 of the Companies Act 1933:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily and that John Edward Purchas, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."
All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 28th day of August 1956, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1956, £30,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereby enabling, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three thirty-seconds of one penny (3/32d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 9th day of July 1956.

APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL SITE LICENCE

JOHN LAIRD FRAME, of Dumbarton, Farmer, hereby gives notice that he has applied for a special site licence for a pumping station on a portion of river-bank reserve adjoining Section 85, Block I, Benger Survey District. The special site will be 20 ft. by 20 ft., an area of 400 square feet, and is required for a pumping station. The proposed term of the licence is forty-two years. The application and all objections thereto will be heard on Wednesday, the 8th day of August 1956, at 10 a.m., at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, and all objections must be filed in the Registrar's office and notified to the applicant at least three days before this time. His residence at Dumbarton is the applicant's address for service.

APPLICATION FOR LICENCE FOR WATER RACE

JOHN LAIRD FRAME, of Dumbarton, Farmer, hereby gives notice that he has applied for a licence for a water race to take four heads of water from the Clutha River for irrigation purposes. The point of intake is on Section 85, Block I, Benger Survey District, and on river-bank reserve adjoining this block. The length of the race is 118 chains, running through the said Section 85, Block I, Benger Survey District, Sections 46 and 34, Block I of the said district, crossing the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway, then continuing south and south-east on Section 42, Block I, Benger Survey District. The race is to be 2ft. wide and 1ft. in depth and is to be constructed. The application and all objections thereto will be heard on Wednesday, the 8th day of August 1956, at 10 a.m., at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, and all objections must be filed in the Registrar's office and notified to the applicant at least three days before the time so appointed. His residence at Dumbarton is the applicant's address for service.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waihemo County Council, at its meeting held on the 27th day of June 1956, has resolved to prepare for the County of Waihemo a district scheme, as required by the provisions of the above Act.
Every person, and every authority in the district, is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked "Waihemo County District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's office, Palmerston, on or before the 19th day of October 1956.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Workers' Dwelling Loan (1955), £7,500
THE under-mentioned resolution was passed by the Whakatane Borough Council at a special meeting held on the 9th day of July 1956:
"In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Whakatane Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting two houses and making additions to two houses, hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen one-hundredths of a penny (.13d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Street Improvement Loan (1955), £12,800
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Motueka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £12,800, authorised to be raised by the Motueka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out street improvements within the Borough, the said Motueka Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Motueka; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
