TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council at its meeting held on the 14th day of December 1955 has resolved to prepare by sections, for the parts of the City of Wellington described in the Schedule to this notice, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which in his or its opinion should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “City of Wellington District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 26th day of April 1956.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Mount Roskill Borough Council at its meeting held on the 12th day of October 1954, has resolved to prepare for the Borough of Mount Roskill a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of Marsh’s Silks (Timaru) Limited (in voluntary liquidation) members’ winding up, and in the matter of the Companies Act 1933.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at Christchurch on the 21st day of December 1955, the following special resolution was passed, viz.:
“That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Norman Sydney Kirby, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 16th day of December 1955 presented to the said Court by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Dunedin on the 6th day of February 1956 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

PUBLIC WORKS AMENDMENT ACT 1952
WHEREAS by proclamation bearing date the 1st day of November 1897, the land described below, following a memorial presented by the Blenheim Borough Council under the Public Works Act 1894, was with other land set apart for the purpose of river-protection works, and whereas it is desired that the said purpose should be changed and the said land described below should now be set apart for housing purposes, notice is hereby given to all persons affected by the said change to set forth in writing any objection to the proposed change of purpose and to send the written objection to the Blenheim Borough Council within 40 days from the 19th day of January 1956.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Rotorua County Council, at its meeting held on the 17th day of January 1956, has resolved to prepare the Rotorua County District Scheme (Section I, Rotorua West; and Section II, Rotorua East). For description of area see Gazette of 21 December 1955, No. 79, page 2027, and plan which is on deposit at the county office, Rotorua: a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
