OTOROHANGA COUNTY
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD IN BLOCK VIII,
ORAHIRI SURVEY DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the
land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice
is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to
be taken is deposited in the office of the Otorohanga County
Council at Ballance Street, Otorohanga, and is there open
for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections
to the said taking, set forth the same in writing, and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publication
of this notice, to the office of the County Council at
Otorohanga.

Otorohanga, and thereon coloured sepia.

In the matter of the Religious, Charitable, and Educational
Trusts Act 1908 and its amendments, and in the matter
of a certain trust created by Frederick Potter, late of
Auckland, Retired Merchant, deceased.
Notice is hereby given that an order has been made by
the Honourable Mr Justice Finlay, a Judge of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand, approving the scheme for
disposition of property subject to the above trust, which said
scheme is filed in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme
Court at Whangarei.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESULT OF POLL—BEACHLANDS COUNTY TOWN
HEREBY give notice that at the poll of ratepayers taken
on Tuesday, the 3rd day of July 1956, under section 40 of
the Rating Act 1925, the Counties Amendment Act 1952, and
the Local Elections and Polls Act 1953, on a proposal to adopt
the system of rating on unimproved value in the Beachlands
County Town, the number of votes recorded was as follows:
For unimproved value ..... 247
Against unimproved value ..... 80
Informal ..... 3
Pursuant to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I therefore
declare the proposal to adopt the system of rating on the
unimproved value within the said Beachlands County Town to
be carried.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
The above company has passed an extraordinary resolution
by entry in its minute book that the company cannot by
reason of its liabilities continue to carry on its business and
that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that John
Osborne, Public Accountant, of Otorohanga, be nominated as
liquidator for the purposes of winding up.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
day preceding publication.

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every
subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for
the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
£1 10s. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are
out of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1)
and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, £3 3s.
per calendar year in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating
the purchase of extra copies.
Orders should be placed with the Government Printer,
Publications Branch, Wellington C. 1. Separate copies of
regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and
Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or
from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
