NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments to take the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public road, and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken as aforesaid is deposited in the public office of the said Coromandel County Council, situated at Kapanga Road, Coromandel, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land who may have any well grounded objections to such taking must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Coromandel County Council at its said office at Coromandel, i.e., before the 20th day of August 1956.

SCHEDULE

All of which lands are shown on Survey Office Plan No. 37626 and are situated in Block VI, Coromandel Survey District, in the Land District of South Auckland.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that “A. P. M. Williams Limited” has changed its name to “Morton Williams Limited”, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Richmond Loan 1955, of £101,000 (£20,000 Portion)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing the Marae-nui Block, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one seven four (.174) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
