FIRST SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 9B
ALL that public highway in the County of Hutt and the Borough of Eastbourne declared as the Lower Hutt-Eastbourne Main Highway, as described in Order in Council dated 2 April 1928.*
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 9B
Lower Hutt-Eastbourne: All that public highway in the County of Hutt commencing at the south boundary of the City of Lower Hutt, opposite part Section 20, Harbour District, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, and terminating at the north boundary of the Borough of Eastbourne adjacent to Lot 2, D.P. 542, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, being a distance of 3 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 150668 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Also all that public highway in the Borough of Eastbourne commencing at the north boundary of the said borough, opposite Lot 2, D.P. 542, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction via Murtai Road and terminating at the south boundary of the said borough, being the north boundary of Section 50, Harbour District, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 28 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 150668 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Revoking Declaration of Main Highways and Declaring Public Highways to be Main Highways
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works, hereby gives notice as follows:
- (1) The portions of public highways described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be main highways.
(2) The Order in Council made on the 31st day of October 1951,* declaring (inter alia) the portion of public highway firstly described in the First Schedule hereto to be main highway, is hereby consequentially amended by revoking so much of the Second Schedule thereto as relates to the said highway.
(3) The Order in Council made on the 22nd day of July 1936†, declaring (inter alia) the portion of public highway secondly described in the First Schedule hereto to be main highway, is hereby consequentially amended by revoking so much of the Second Schedule thereto as relates to the said highway. - The public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be main highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act 1953.
- This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 8
ALL that public highway in the County of Waimarino and the Borough of Raetihi declared as the Pipiriki-Raetihi Main Highway as described in Order in Council dated 31st day of October 1951 and all that public highway in the Counties of Wanganui and Waimarino declared as the Wanganui River Left Bank Main Highway, as described in Order in Council dated 22nd day of July 1936†.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 8
Raetihi-Wanganui via Pipiriki: All that public highway in the Counties of Waimarino and Wanganui commencing at the western boundary of the Borough of Raetihi opposite the north-eastern corner of part Section 15, D.P. 5359, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, and thence proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, Block IX, Pipiriki Township, Block X, Rarete Survey District, and thence generally in a southerly direction to its junction with the National Park-Wanganui State Highway near the north-eastern boundary of Section 281, Block XIV, Waipakura Survey District, being a distance of 55 miles 15 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 150617 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Also all that public highway in the Borough of Raetihi commencing at its junction with the National Park-Wanganui State Highway and the Raetihi-Waiouru State Highway, and C
thence proceeding generally in a westerly direction and thence in a south-westerly direction via Seddon Street and Pipiriki-Ohakune Road to the western boundary of the said Borough opposite the north-east corner of part Section 15, D.P. 5359, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 16 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 150616 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured mauve.

ALL that public highway in the County of Masterton declared as the Blairlogie-Langdale Main Highway, as described in Order in Council dated 13 November 1934.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 10
Blairlogie-Langdale: All that public highway in the County of Masterton commencing at its junction with the Masterton-Castlepoint via Tinui Main Highway near the west boundary of Section 521, Block 1, Rewa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, and terminating at its junction with Langdale Road at the north-west corner of Section 1s, Block III, Rewa Survey District, being a distance of 8 miles 20 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 150612 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Sale of Unclaimed Property
IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the police at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Wellington, Greymouth, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin, and Invercargill Stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, 21 July 1956, be sold thereafter by public auction.
Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Assistant Commissioner, Superintendent, or Inspector of Police, in charge of the district.
