Defining the Middle Line of the Northcote–Albany Motorway in Blocks III, IV, VIII, and XII, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Blocks III, IV, VIII, and XII, Waitemata Survey District—viz., the Northcote–Albany Motorway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 150405, referred to in the Schedule hereto.

As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150405 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of July 1956.
