June 1956, the Official Assignee at Greymouth has been

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Loan 1955, £1,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, and section
17 of the Local Legislation Act 1955, the Rangiora Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000) authorised
to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of refunding to Sewer-
age Account moneys applied towards the purchase of land
for and in connection with the sewerage and drainage system
of the Borough of Rangiora, the said Rangiora Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
two pence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the Borough of Rangiora (on the basis
of the unimproved value); and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid."
CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY
NOTICE is hereby given that "Silencers (N.Z.) Limited"
has changed its name to "G. Robinson Limited", and
that the new name was this day entered on my Register of
Companies in place of the former name.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Act to execute a certain public work, namely, re-subdivision
and improvement within the Freeman's Bay Reclamation Area
under Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945; and for
the purpose of such public work the lands described in the
Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken
is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the
Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have well grounded objec-
tions to the execution of the said public work or to the taking
of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and
send the same within forty days from the first publication of
this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

ALL that the lessor's reversionary interest in that piece of land
containing 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, situated in the City
of Auckland, being Allotment 26 of Section 39, of the City of
Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and

Registry (limited as to parcels), subject to outstanding and of

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Featherston Borough
Council at its meeting held on the 8th day of December
1955 has resolved to prepare for the Featherston Borough a
district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and
County Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is
hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its
opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the pro-
posed scheme.
Proposals marked "Featherston District Scheme" should be
addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town
Clerk's office on or before the 31st day of March 1956.
