Land Held for Better Utilisation Set Apart for State Housing
Purposes in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for better utilisation, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of July 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 14 acres and 21·2 perches.

Being part Lot 3, D.P. 15832. All the land in Proclamation No. 13618 after excepting thereout the land in Proclamation No. 14787, and the area of 38·6 perches being part Lot 3, D.P. 15832, being more particularly delineated on the plan marked 38253 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon coloured blue, edged blue.

Situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of June 1956.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for defence purposes, is hereby set apart for post and telegraph purposes (line store); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of July 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 4 acres 2 roods 26 perches.

Being part land on D.P. 4643, being part Allotment 172, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland.

Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39269.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150731 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for health purposes (district nurse’s cottage), is hereby set apart for a teacher’s residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of July 1956.

An Easement Over Land Taken for Defence Purposes in the
City of Invercargill

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the First Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the said Second Schedule.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is taken: 17·4 perches.

Being part Section 27.

Situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, City of Invercargill, Southland R.D. (S.O. 4187.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150770 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land to which the easement shall be appurtenant: 3 acres.

Being part Section 27, Block I, Invercargill Hundred. All certificate of title, Volume 98, folio 20, Southland Land Registry, City of Invercargill.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of July 1956.

Easement Over Land Taken for the Development of Water
Power (Haywards Substation) in Block IV, Belmont Survey
District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for the development of water power (Haywards Substation) over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of pipes along, under, or over the said land and to use the said line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of water, such easement to be appurtenant to the land secondly described in the First Schedule of the Proclamation dated the 6th day of April 1954, published in Gazette, 8 April 1954, Volume I, page 538, and registered as No. 5074, Wellington Land Registry.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is taken: 34·32 perches.

Being part Section 197, Hutt Registration District.

Situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150243 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of June 1956.
