NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 22nd day of June 1956 presented to the Court by William Gould, of Nelson, Garage Proprietor; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Nelson on the 10th day of July 1956, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named society duly convened and held on the 7th day of June 1956 the following special resolutions were passed:
“1. That the Woodville District Co-operative Society be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That Mr John Girvan Mulvey, of Woodville, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator.”

SECURITY RATE
Water Supply Extension Loan No. 1, 1956
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £50,000, to be known as the Waimairi County Council Water Supply Extension Loan No. 1, 1956, authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Council's high pressure water supply system into the Harewood, Marshland, Middleton, Papanui, Styx, and Wairarapa Ridings of the County, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0823578d. (pence) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area, which is as follows:
“The whole of the Middleton Riding and all of the area within the following boundaries of the County:
“From the Middleton Riding boundary on Yaldhurst Road, along Yaldhurst Road to Russley Road; thence north along Russley Road to Burnside Road, east along Burnside Road to the eastern boundary of the Russley Golf Course; thence north along the eastern boundary of the Russley Golf Course to Wairakei Road, east along Wairakei Road to Breeens Road; thence north along Breeens Road to Gardiners Road, along Gardiners Road to its junction with Claridges Road; thence east along Claridges Road to Highsted Road; thence north along Highsted Road to a point in line with Craddocks Road; thence east along this line to the junction of Craddocks and Boundary Drain Roads, along Boundary Drain Road to Styx Mill Road; thence east along Styx Mill Road to its junction with the Main North Road, from this point continuing in an easterly direction to Farquhars Road, along Farquhars Road to Grimseys Road; thence along Grimseys Road to Winters Road, along Winters Road to the city boundary; thence following around the city boundary to Ilam Road; thence along Ilam Road to Kirkwood Avenue; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

SPECIAL RATE FOR SECURITY
Streets Construction and Improvements Supplementary Loan 1956, £9,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Ellerslie Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £9,000 authorised to be raised by the Ellerslie Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing funds for constructing and improving streets and footpaths including kerbing, channelling, and storm-water drainage, the Ellerslie Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal seven pence (0·7d.) in the pound on the annual value of all rateable property in the Borough of Ellerslie; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such special loan, and being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings at the meeting of the Ellerslie Borough Council held on the 19th day of June 1956 and recorded in the minute book of the council.
