STEWARTS AND LLOYDS OF NEW ZEALAND LIMITED
REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933 and in the matter of Stewarts and Lloyds of New Zealand Limited, a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in the City of Wellington.
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 1st day of June 1956, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £480,000 to £60,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the abovementioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 19th day of June 1956. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
"The capital of Stewarts and Lloyds of New Zealand Limited is £60,000 divided into 60,000 fully paid ordinary shares of £1 each, having been reduced from £480,000 divided into 480,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid up."

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tokoroa Water Supply Loan No. 1, 1956
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of £24,000, authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reticulating Tokoroa Separate Water Supply Areas 1, 2, and 3, with supply mains and incidental fittings, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny (£d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tokoroa Water Supply Special Rating Area (No. 1) described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

"Tokoroa Water Supply Special Rating Area (No. 1)
"All that area in Block VIII, Patetere South Survey District, in the County of Matamata, included within the following boundaries:
"Commencing at the junction of the eastern boundary of the Putaruru-Kinleith railway and the Whakauru Stream and proceeding in an easterly and south-easterly direction generally by the said Whakauru Stream to the southern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 23369; thence in a westerly direction by the said southern boundary of D.P. 23369 to the Tirau-Wairakei (No. 41) State Highway; thence by a right line to the southern boundary of Logan Street at its junction with the said State highway; thence in a southerly direction by the western boundary of the said State highway to the northern boundary of Bridge Street; thence in a westerly direction by the northern boundary of Bridge Street to the eastern boundary of the Putaruru-Kinleith railway; thence in a northerly direction by the eastern boundary of the said railway to the southern boundary of Baird Road; thence in a westerly direction by the southern boundary of Baird Road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 54 on D.P. 34654; thence in a southerly direction by the eastern boundaries of Lot 54 on D.P. 34654 and D.P. 35819, D.P. 37018, D.P. S. 108, to the northern boundary of Bridge Street; thence by a right line across Bridge Street to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 on D.P. S. 2191; thence in a southerly direction by the eastern boundaries of D.P. S. 2191 and Lot 2 on D.P. 32554 to the northern boundary of Maraetai Road; thence in a westerly direction by the northern boundary of Maraetai Road to a point in direct line with a production of the western boundary of Lot 11 on D.P. 32866; thence in a northerly direction by a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 11 on D.P. 23866, and continuing along the western boundary of Lot 11 on D.P. 23866 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 29115 of Lot 10 on D.P. 23866 of Tokoroa No. 1 Block; thence by the western and northern boundaries of the residential district in the Tokoroa District Planning Scheme to the Whakauru Stream; thence in a south-easterly direction by the said Whakauru Stream to the point of commencement."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 21st day of June 1956.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tokoroa Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1956
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of £46,000, authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing reservoir, headworks, pumping plant, mains, purchasing and acquiring waterwork installations from New Zealand Forest Products Limited, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-tenths of a penny (3/10d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tokaroa Water Supply Special Rating Area (No. 2) described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

"All that area in Block VIII, Patetere South Survey District, in the County of Matamata, included within the following boundaries:
"Commencing at the junction of the eastern boundary of the Putaruru-Kinleith railway and the middle of the Whakauru Stream and proceeding up the middle of the Whakauru Stream to and along a series of right lines parallel to and five chains distant from the middle of the Tirau-Wairakei State Highway to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 33685, being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block in Block XII, Patetere South Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line to and along that southern boundary and the production of that boundary to the eastern boundary of Lot 18, D.P. 23865, being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block; thence northerly along that eastern boundary and the eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 33684, and part Lot 7, D.P. 32554, the said lots being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block aforesaid, to and westerly along a right line parallel to and 10 chains distant from the middle of Maraetai Road to the eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 32554, being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block aforesaid, and again northerly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of that Lot 5; thence along a right line to the southeastern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 29115, being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block, and along another right line passing through the intersection of the northern side of Baird Road with the middle of the Matarawa Stream to a point in Block VII, Patetere South Survey District, 10 chains distant from, measured at right angles to, the middle of Baird Road aforesaid; thence easterly along a series of right lines parallel to the middle of that last-mentioned road to and up the middle of the Whakauru Stream to the point of commencement."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 21st day of June 1956.

PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,500, authorised to be raised by the Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Borough Development Loan 1952, of £75,000 was raised, the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·71d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Putaruru; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and the said council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, which is in amendment and substitution of the resolution as published in Gazette, No. 23, of 12 April 1956, page 518, was passed at a meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council held on the 18th day of June 1956.
