HUNTERVILLE TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Hunter-ville Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250), authorised to be raised by the Hunterville Town Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the worker’s dwelling, for which the Housing Loan 1955 of two thousand five hundred pounds (£2,500) was raised, the said Hunterville Town Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·3d. (point three pence) in the pound on the rateable annual value of all rateable property in the Town District of Hunter ville; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-eight years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
“That the special rate of 0·3d. (point three pence) in the pound on the annual value of the Hunterville Town District, made and levied by the Hunterville Town Council on the 18th day of June 1956, be and is hereby appropriated and pledged to the Housing Supplementary Loan 1955, and that the chairman and treasurer be and are hereby appointed to countersign the debentures issued to cover the loan.”
