PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewage Disposal Loan 1955, £10,200 (National Provident Fund Portion, £5,200)
THE following resolution was passed by the Pahiatua Borough Council at a meeting held on 11 June 1956:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,200 (part of £10,200 loan for disposal of sewage) to be raised from the National Provident Fund Board by the Pahiatua Borough Council in New Zealand by special order under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, and of all other Acts it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of constructing an Imhoff tank for sewage disposal, the said Pahiatua Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 80/100ths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Pahiatua, comprising the whole of the Borough of Pahiatua; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

DAWE RADIO AND REFRIGERATION LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to sections 222 and 300 of the Companies Act 1933, that the above-mentioned company has this day resolved by special resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that H. E. P. Wilson, of Te Puke, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator.

AUCKLAND CENTENNIAL MEMORIAL PARK BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Centennial Memorial Park Board proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of land for the Auckland Centennial Memorial Park, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Auckland Centennial Memorial Park Board office of the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Honorary Secretary, Auckland Centennial Memorial Park Board, Town Hall, Auckland.
SCHEDULE
All those pieces of land containing, firstly, 89 acres 2 roods 36·2 perches, more or less, being the south-eastern portion of Allotment 58 and parts of the south middle portion of Allotment 58 of the Parish of Waitakerei, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 768, folio 147, Auckland Registry (limited as to parcels and title); secondly, 87 acres, more or less, being the northern portion of Section 58 of the Parish of Waitakerei, and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 796, folio 25, Auckland Registry; thirdly, 125 acres 1 rood 39·4 perches, more or less, being part of the western portion of Allotment 95 of the Parish of Waitakerei, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 771, folio 14, Auckland Registry (limited as to parcels and subject to fencing agreement contained in Transfer 323511); and fourthly, 44 acres and 10 perches, more or less, being part of the north-eastern portion of Allotment 95 of the Parish of Waitakerei, and being part of the land on Deposited Plan 12705 and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 723, folio 96, Auckland Registry.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council desires, pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act and its amendments, to change the purpose for which the lands described in the Schedule hereto were acquired, namely, for a municipal depot, to some other purpose, namely, for resubdivisional and improvement within with the Freemans Bay Reclamation area under Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said pieces of land is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the proposed change of purpose are called upon to state their objection in writing and send same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.
SCHEDULE
1 rood 11 perches, more or less, being Allotment 24 and part of Allotment 20 of Section 39 of the City of Auckland, the boundaries whereof are more particularly shown on Proclamation No. 14108, being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 90, folio 32, Auckland Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of Stevano Displays Limited will be held at 17 Finch Street, Mount Albert, Auckland, on Wednesday, 11 July 1956, at 11 o’clock in the morning, for the purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, passing as an extraordinary resolution, the following:
“That, it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Val Ronald Leemon, of Auckland, Registered Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
THE partnership heretofore carried on by C. G. Lennard and L. M. Lennard as Barristers and Solicitors at Auckland, under the name of Lennard and Lennard, has been dissolved by the retirement of Mr C. G. Lennard as from 11 June 1956.
Mr L. M. Lennard has been joined in partnership by Mr R. A. Chesham, who will continue the practice at the former firm’s address under the name or style of Lennard and Chesham.
