A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.

In the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14128 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of June 1956.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Waitoa

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of June 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods 39·78 perches.
Being Lots 3, 4, and 5, D.P. S. 2044, being part Waokauri No. 1 Block, situated in Block IV, Maungakawa Survey District, Piako County, and being part of the land formerly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1206, folio 77, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of June 1956.

Authorising the Purchase by the Waitomo Electric Power Board of Certain Electric Works from Her Majesty the Queen

At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of June 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the purchase, on the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement hereinafter referred to, by the Waitomo Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) of certain electric works, the property of Her Majesty the Queen, as described in an agreement bearing date the 14th day of June 1956 and made between the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department and the Minister of Works of the one part and the Board of the other part, of which agreement a copy has been deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Authorising the Waitomo Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Part of the Taupo County

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of June 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitomo Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto, and further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to construct electric works within the said area of supply.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences, by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
    LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
  2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
    SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
  3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
    DURATION OF LICENCE
  4. This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 6th day of May 1968.
    SCHEDULE
    AREA OF SUPPLY
    ALL that portion of the Taupo County included in the Waitomo Electric Power District by the Proclamation dated the 16th day of December 1955 and published in the Gazette on the 21st day of the same month, at page 2021.
