Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Approximate area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 21 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Section 16.
Situated in Block IV, Waikouaiti Survey District, Otago R.D. (S.O. 11981.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150422 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street and that the said street shall be under the control of the Napier City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
