Varying a Notice Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be a Tribal Committee Area Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby varies a notice dated 16 December 1947 and published in the Gazette on 8 January 1948, at page 20, declaring parts of the Tuwharetoa No. 1 Tribal District to be Tribal Committee areas for the purpose of the said Act by excluding from the Schedule thereto the descriptions of the Mangakoura and Rotongaio-Waitahanui Tribal Committee areas, and substituting therefor the description appearing in the Schedule hereto.
