PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies the Order in Council made on 23 July 1952, and published in the Gazette, 31 July 1952, Vol II, page 1289, and affecting the Okoura 5B 4A Block, by deleting the words “Ngati Rakaiwhakairi Tribe”, and substituting therefor the words “sub-tribes of the Ngati Kahungunu Tribe resident in the South Wairarapa district”.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order shall be cited as the Tuapeka Rabbit District Order 1956.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Tuapeka Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 31st day of March 1954,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TUAPEKA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Tuapeka and Bruce Counties and being parts of Beaumont, Tuapeka West, Tuapeka East, Table Hill, Waitahuna West, and Waitahuna East Survey Districts, containing approximately 84,600 acres, bounded as follows: Commencing at the confluence of the Crook Burn and the Clutha River; thence generally northerly up the centre of the Clutha River to the road bridge at Beaumont; thence generally south-easterly along the Milton-Queenstown State Highway to the centre of the Tuapeka River; thence north-easterly up the centre of the Tuapeka River and of Munro’s Gully to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 51, Block XVIII, Tuapeka East Survey District; thence easterly to and generally south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 51, 76, 96, 95, 94, 93, 92, and 91, Block XVIII aforesaid; to and across a public road; thence generally south-easterly along the northern and eastern boundaries of Sections 88, 89, 97, 98, and 99, Block XVIII aforesaid, and easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 165 and 163, Block XIX, Tuapeka East Survey District, to the Blue Spur Road; thence southerly along Blue Spur Road to the southern boundary of Section 174, Block XIX aforesaid; thence easterly along the southern boundary of said Section 174 to a public road; thence easterly along a road on the northern boundaries of Sections 178, 179, 181, 180, and through Section 181, Block XIX, to the road alongside Wetherstone Creek; thence south-easterly along Anderson Road to the Railway Reserve; thence south-easterly along the Railway Reserve to German Stream; thence generally easterly and south-easterly down German Stream to its confluence with the Waitahuna River; thence south-easterly to and along the south-western boundaries of Sections 14, 13, 12, and 11, Block XI, Table Hill Survey District, to a public road; thence southerly along the said road to the southern boundary of said Block XI; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Block XI, Table Hill Survey District, and Block X, Waitahuna East Survey District, to the Waitahuna Gully Road; thence north-westerly along that road and the Waitahuna-Waipori Road, to and along the Milton-Queenstown State Highway to the railway crossing at Waitahuna; thence westerly along the Greenfield-Waitahuna via Polsons Road and north-westerly along the Waitahuna-Clarks Flat Road and Clarks Flat Road to Robertson Road; thence south-westerly along Robertson Road and the Greenfield-Waitahuna via Polsons Road to the Tuapeka Mouth-Newton Road; thence generally south-westerly along the said Tuapeka Mouth-Newton Road to the centre of the Crook Burn; thence south-westerly down the centre of the Crook Burn to its confluence with the Clutha River, the point of commencement.

Constituting the Clydevale Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 6118)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby constitutes and declares the area of land, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereto, being an area to which subsection (1) of section 14 of the Rabbits Act 1955 applies, a rabbit district, and appoints that the name of the said rabbit district shall be the Clydevale Rabbit District, and orders that the basis on which the rabbit board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF THE CLYDEVALE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District and the Counties of Bruce, Clutha, and Tuapeka containing 64,400 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the confluence of the Waitahuna River with the Clutha River; thence generally north-easterly up the centre of the Waitahuna River to the bridge on the Milton-Queenstown State Highway at Waitahuna; thence north-westerly along that highway to the railway crossing at Waitahuna; thence generally westerly along the Greenfield-Waitahuna via Polsons Road and north-westerly along the Waitahuna-Clarks Flat Road and Clarks Flat Road to Robertson Road; thence south-westerly along Robertson Road and the Greenfield-Waitahuna via Polsons Road to the Tuapeka Mouth-Newton Road; thence generally south-westerly along the Tuapeka Mouth-Newton Road to the Crook Burn; thence south-westerly down the centre of the Crook Burn to its confluence with the Clutha River; thence generally north-westerly up the centre of the Clutha River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Block VI, Rankleburn Survey District; thence generally south-westerly to and along that boundary and the north-western and western boundary of Section 59, across a road to and along the western boundary of Section 43 to Bullock Creek, and westerly to and along the northern boundary of Section 25, Block VI, across a road and along the northern and north-western boundaries of Section 8, Block V, Rankleburn Survey District, to the westernmost corner of that Section 8; thence generally south-westerly to and down the centre of the East Branch of Back Creek and the centre of Back Creek to its confluence with the Pomahaka River; thence generally south-easterly down the centre of the Pomahaka River to its confluence with the Clutha River; thence south-easterly along the centre of the Clutha River to the confluence of the Waitahuna River, the point of commencement.
