Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to Raise a Loan
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Putaruru, taken on the 3rd day of May 1956, on the proposal of the Putaruru Borough Council to borrow the sum of £13,000 for the purpose of erecting a two-bay fire station with living quarters:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 74
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 8
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Putaruru, taken on the 3rd day of May 1956, on the proposal of the Putaruru Borough Council to borrow the sum of £17,000 for the purpose of erecting a reinforced concrete reservoir for water-supply purposes with a storage capacity of 500,000 gallons:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 74
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 8
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
