A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 163
(c) of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken in connection with drainage, and shall vest in
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of
Rangiora as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 23rd day of January 1956.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto; and I also hereby take the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6)
of the said section 29.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land proclaimed as road:
16·5 perches.
Being part Section 59; coloured orange.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 22·5 perches.
Being part Section 59; bordered orange.
All situated in Block I, Upper Taieri Survey District, Otago
R.D. (S.O. 12123.)
All in the Otago Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148358
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State
forest purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of January 1956.
