A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of May 1956.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 15Β·9 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 41362, being part Allotment 40, Manurewa Parish.
Situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39331.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150202 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of May 1956.
