A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Government road hereby stopped:

A. R. P.
0 3 29 Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 74, part Allotment 84, and Allotment 91, Puniu Parish; coloured green.
0 1 7 Being road in Proclamation 9257, being formerly part Allotment 74, Puniu Parish; coloured red.

Situated in Block VII, Puniu Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 28120.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93138 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in Block VII, Hukatere Survey District, Otamatea County, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 5th day of August 1953 to be road.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be road: 4 acres 3 roods 18Β·8 perches.
Being part Te Komiti No. 1A, Sections 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D. Situated in Block VII, Hukatere Survey District, Auckland R.D. (M.L. 13707.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150097 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington; and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 13th day of January 1954, to be road.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of December 1924 and published in Gazette, 11 December 1924, Volume III., page 2898, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1482, defining the middle line of a portion of the Wellington-Napier railway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 27.71 perches.
Being Lot 12, D.P. 15368, being part Section 39 and part Subdivision 3A of Section 36, Hutt District.

Situated in the City of Lower Hutt. Parts certificates of title, Volume 18, folio 105, Volume 233, folio 252, and Volume 517, folio 73, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of April 1956.

Declaring Land in the Wellington Land District, Wellington Acclimatisation District, to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a Wildlife Refuge for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District being portion of the Porirua Harbour bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore of Porirua Harbour in line with the south-western boundary of Section 84, Porirua District, situated in Block VIII., Paekakariki Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly and southerly generally along the shore across the mouth of the Pauatahanui River, westerly and northerly generally again along the shore, and a public road to the headland at the north-eastern corner of Section 93, Porirua District; thence north-westerly along a right line across Porirua Harbour to a point on the shore in line with the south-western boundary of Section 84, Porirua District, being the point of commencement; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked I.A. 46/137 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of May 1956.
