A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of May 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 rood 28·8 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 18333, being part Rural Section 292. Situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of May 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 3 roods 30 perches.
Being part Rural Section 121.
Situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8940.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150058 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Archibald John Beaton, of Omarama, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown renewable lease under Part III of the Land Act 1924 and the Mining Act 1926, No. 121°, Volume 206, folio 247, Otago Land Registry, is hereby taken for a clay pit; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of May 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Norman Plummer, of Richmond Farm Settlement, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10237, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Albert Edward Hallgarth, of Richmond Farm Settlement, Carpenter, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10260, and the leasehold estate in the land thirdly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Charles John Gilder, of Richmond Farm Settlement, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10238, are hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of May 1956.
