Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 2 roods 28·4 perches.
Being part Allotment 5, Parish of Waikomiti; coloured yellow.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROAD CLOSED
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods 25·8 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 5, Parish of Waikomiti; coloured green.
All situated in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 34497.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150004 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Altering the Boundaries of the South Canterbury Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the South Canterbury Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the Mackenzie County, Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the Mount Nimrod Trig. Station, thence in a south-westerly, north-westerly, westerly, and north-westerly direction following the Mackenzie and Waimate County boundary to a point at Hakataramea Pass on the eastern boundary of Run 252 in
Block XI, Mackenzie Survey District, the said point being on the boundary of the Mackenzie County, and proceeding northerly generally along the eastern boundary of Run 252, the southern and eastern boundaries of Run 253, the eastern boundary of Rural Section 36814 to and across Burkes Pass Road; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western side of the said road and the south-eastern boundary of part Run 75, and northerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of part Run 75 and the eastern boundaries of part Run 243, Run 270, and part Run 77 to a point at the junction of the Mackenzie County with the Ashburton County; thence following the boundary of the Ashburton and Mackenzie Counties to the Geraldine County; thence following the boundary of the Mackenzie and Geraldine Counties to the Opuha River; thence by the Opuha and North Opuha Rivers to a point in the North Opuha River at the north-eastern corner of Section 1A, Sherwood Downs Settlement; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 4A, the south-eastern boundary of Section 13A, the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 17A, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 20A, Sherwood Downs Settlement, to the South Opuha River; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 1A and 2, Ashwick Settlement, to the Opihi River; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 36085 and 36086, Block I, Tengawai Survey District, Small Grazing Run 86, Section 36088, Block 5, Tengawai Survey District, Small Grazing Runs 49, 50, 51, to the Tengawai River; thence along the Tengawai River and the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Small Grazing Run 54, again to the Tengawai River; thence along the Mackenzie Stream and Lockhart's Creek to the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 36466, Block 16, Burkes Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of said Section 36466, Section 36467, Block 4, Mackenzie Survey District, by part of the western and the north-eastern boundaries of Section 36059, Block 1, Opawa Survey District, and the north-eastern boundaries of Small Grazing Runs 5, 1, 2, 6, 4, Chamberlain Settlement, to the Opawa River; thence along the Opawa River to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Mount Nessing Settlement; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, 8, 10, 11, Mount Nessing Settlement, to the Pareora River; thence along the Pareora River to its source at the Mount Nimrod Trig. Station, the commencing point. As the said area is more particularly shown outlined in blue on the plan marked S.H.D. 395 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Pursuant to Section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as wildlife refuges the areas of land in the Gisborne Land District described in the Schedules hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 42 acres 1 rood 2·2 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-east side of Awapuni Road being the north-western corner of part Awapuni 1F Block and proceeding in a north-easterly direction, along the south-eastern boundary of the said Awapuni Road to its intersection with a public road; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, and north-westerly along the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern sides of that road to the westernmost corner of part Waiohiharore No. 3 Block; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said part Waiohiharore No. 3 Block to its intersection with Centennial Marine Drive; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the said Centennial Marine Drive to the south-western corner of part Awapuni 1F Block; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said part Awapuni 1F Block to its intersection with Awapuni Road, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres and 1·9 perches, more or less, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 49, folio 272, Gisborne Registry, and bounded as follows:
