Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Putauaki Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 6 November 1936 and published in the Gazette, 12 November 1936, Volume III, page 2198.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Waiapu Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 21 October 1940 and published in the Gazette, 24 October 1940, Volume III, page 2753.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act 1908 (Part II). Unclaimed Lands

WHEREAS the undersigned, the Public Trustee, has for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands) made due inquiry with respect to the land described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and has in respect of the said land given and published the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act, as amended by section 35 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1913, and has in all respects complied with the provisions of the Public Trust Office Act 1908, as so amended, pertinent thereto; and whereas the value of the said land for the purposes of section 67 of the Public Trust Office Act 1908, as amended by section 38 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1921–22, is less than £500: the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that as from the date of the publication hereof the said land is vested in the Public Trustee under and by virtue of the Public Trust Office Act 1908 and will be administered under that Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing one rood sixteen perches (1r. 16p.) being Section 122, Egmont Village, and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 16, folio 234 (Taranaki Registry), of which the registered proprietor is Bessy Lynch, wife of Richard Lynch, of Northcote.
