BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Swimming Pool Loan 1955, £25,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Blenheim doth hereby resolve as follows:

"That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a new swimming pool within the Borough of Blenheim, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundred and thirty-five one-thousandths of a penny (0·335d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved ratable value of all ratable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan."

I hereby certify that the above resolution, which is in amendment and substitution of the resolution as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 12 of 1 March 1956, page 298, was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 4th day of April 1956.

"2. That Frederick Ernest Roy Merritt, of Auckland, Company Director, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."

Notice is further given that I hereby fix the 31st day of May 1956 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act 1951, the Counties Act 1920, and all other Acts and powers thereunto enabling, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on the Rural Housing Loan, No. 3, 1955, to be raised by the Inglewood County Council, the said council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal two thousand seven hundred and sixty-one pence (0·2761d.) in the pound on the ratable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all ratable property in the County of Inglewood; and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Inglewood County Council held in the Council Chambers, Rata Street, Inglewood, on the 14th day of March 1956, and as appearing in the minutes of such meeting.

OHURA TOWN COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Ohura Town Council, at its meeting held on 14 March 1956, has resolved to prepare for the Ohura Town area a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Ohura Town Council District Scheme" should be addressed to the Town Clerk and posted on or before 30 June 1956.
