PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Putaruru
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £7,500, authorised to be raised by the
Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of completing the purpose for which the
Borough Development Loan 1952, of £75,000, was raised,
the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 0·45d. in the pound upon the ratable value
of all ratable property of the whole of the Borough of
Putaruru; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-
five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES
Omnibus Purchase Loan 1956
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Timaru
City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on the Omnibus Purchase Loan 1956, of £10,000,
authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing three
omnibuses, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 0·1401d. in the pound upon the whole amount of
unimproved value of all ratable property in the whole of the
City of Timaru; and such special rate to be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of eight years, or
until such loan is fully paid off."
Municipal Buildings Loan 1955
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Timaru
City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on the Municipal Buildings Loan 1955, of £30,000,
authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of extending the
Municipal Buildings, the said Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 0·2321d. in the pound upon the whole
amount of unimproved value of all ratable property in the
whole of the City of Timaru; and such special rate to be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty
years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolutions were duly
passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on 26
March 1956.

OTAGO CENTRAL ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Generation and Extensions Loan 1952, £165,000
(Third Portion, £60,000)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Otago
Central Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000), being
the third portion of a loan of one hundred and sixty-five
thousand pounds (£165,000), authorised to be raised by the
Otago Central Electric Power Board under the above-
mentioned Act for (a) generating and transmitting electric
power from the Fraser River; (b) completing the original
proposal for the reticulation of the Wakatipu portion of the
Board's supply district; (c) supply of plant, material and
equipment and the erection of extensions and strengthening
of lines and apparatus for the transmission of electric power
throughout the district of supply; (d) the erection of
additional workshop accommodation and plant for the
manufacture of concrete poles; the said Otago Central
Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
of four twenty-fifths of a penny (4/25d.) in the pound upon
the ratable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
ratable property in the Otago Central Electric Power
District, which special rate is hereby permanently appropriated
and pledged as security for the repayment of the said special
loan and interest thereon."

Notice of Final General Meeting
PURSUANT to section 232 of the Companies Act 1933, a
general meeting of shareholders of the company will be
held at the residence of Mrs McAlpine, Strathmore Street,
Morrisville, on Tuesday, the 8th day of May 1956, at 3.30
p.m., for the purpose of having laid before it an account
showing the manner in which the winding-up has been con-
ducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of
hearing any explanation which may be given by the liquidator,
and also of determining, by extraordinary resolution, the
manner in which the books and papers of the company and of
the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

named company held at Auckland on Monday, 26 March
1956, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting
that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue
its business and that it is advisable to wind up all the same
and that the company be wound up voluntarily."

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of creditors held
at Auckland on the 27th day of March 1956, it was
resolved in pursuance of section 235 of the Companies Act
1933 that H. Margison, of 15 Palmerston Buildings, Queen
Street, Auckland C. 1, be appointed liquidator of the above-
named company.
Notice to Creditors to Prove
The liquidator doth hereby fix the 20th day of May 1956
as the day on or before which the creditors of the company
are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title
they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or
to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made
before such claims are proved, or, as the case may be, from
objecting to such distribution.
