Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Matamata

———

WHEREAS an extra-urban planning scheme, prepared by the Matamata County Council in respect of the Tokoroa (Matamata County) Extra-Urban Area as defined in Gazette, 21 November 1946, No. 83, at page 1765, was finally approved by the Town Planning Board under the Town Planning Act 1926, and has been made operative under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 as a section of the Matamata County District Scheme:

And whereas the Matamata County Council proposes to prepare by sections the district scheme for the remainder of its district:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and further to the notice on page 1884 of Gazette, 8 December 1955, No. 75, public notice is hereby given that approval has been granted to the Matamata County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve the district scheme for the remainder of its district by the following sections, the first seven of which are described in Gazette, 8 December 1955, No. 75, at page 1884:

(1) Waharoa Section.

(2) Matamata Section.

(3) Hinuera Section.

(4) Te Poi Section.

(5) Tirau Section.

(6) Putaruru Section.

(7) Arapuni Section.

(8) Rural Section, being the remainder of the County.

The Land and Income Tax Act 1954—Interest on Income Tax Paid in Advance

———

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Minister of Finance has prescribed that interest at 2 per cent per annum will be credited on advance payments of income tax which will become payable during the financial year ending 31 March 1957, provided the total interest so calculated amounts to 5s. or more.

Advance payments carry interest for each complete month commencing from 2 March 1956 or the date of payment (whichever is the later) to 1 February 1957 inclusive.
