Cancellation of the Vesting in the Mangonui County Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Incorporated, and Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mangonui County Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Incorporated, and changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for an agricultural and pastoral show-ground to a reserve for general education purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Purpose for Which the Land May be Used and How the Value Thereof Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be used by the Wairoa Borough Council for the erection of pensioners’ flats, provided that a sum of one hundred and seventy pounds, being the value of the said land, is paid by the Borough Council into its reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes or in or towards the improvement of other land vested in the council for the said purpose.
