deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier, the crossing
of the Dannevirk Waipukurau via Porangahau main high-
way, along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3 on the
aforementioned plan numbered 6539, the abutment of a
public road, the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block
XIV, Mangatoro Survey District, the crossing of the Manga-
puka Road, and along the south-eastern boundary of Section
6, Block XIV aforesaid, to the south-western corner of Section
3, Block XV, Mangatoro Survey District; thence south-
easterly along the south-western boundary of that section,
the crossing of the Mangapuaka Road, and the south-western
boundary of Section 1, Block XVI aforesaid, to the eastern
boundary of the said Section 1; thence northerly along that
boundary and the eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block XVI,
and Section 1, Block XI, Mangatoro Survey District, to the
south-western corner of Section 1, Block XII, Mangatoro
Survey District; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along
the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that sec-
tion to the western boundary of Section 6, Block XV, Manga-
toro Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the
County of Dannevirk hereinbefore described; thence south-
easterly generally and north-westerly generally along that
boundary to the point of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of
March 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Government Commis-
sion Act 1953, the Local Government Commission
has approved as final five schemes bearing date the 12th
day of January 1956 providing for the areas described in the
Schedules thereto to be excluded from the County of
Waitotara and included in the City of Wanganui:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to give effect to the
final schemes as hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Local Government Com-
mission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby declares that as on and from the 1st day
of April 1956 the areas described in the Schedule hereto
shall be excluded from the County of Waitotara and
included in the City of Wanganui; and with the like advice
and consent hereby also declares that the alteration of
boundaries of the said county and the said city hereinbefore
made shall be deemed to have been effected under the
Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF WAITOTARA AND INCLUDED
IN CITY OF WANGANUI
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by
a line commencing at the intersection of the southern side
of Fitzherbert Avenue with the south-eastern side of Parsons
Street, the said intersection being a point on the boundary of
the City of Wanganui as described in Gazette 1955, at page
1159; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of
Parsons Street to the south-western side of Carlton Avenue,
being a point on the boundary of the City of Wanganui as
described in Gazette 1955, at page 1159; thence south-easterly
and westerly along that boundary to the intersection of the
southern side of Fitzherbert Avenue with the south-eastern
side of Parsons Street, being the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the south-western side
of Fox Road on the production of the middle line of
Oxford Road, the said point being a point on the boundary
of the City of Wanganui as described in Gazette 1955, at
page 1159; thence north-easterly to and along the middle
line of Oxford Road to a point in line with the south-western
boundary of Lot 5 as shown on a plan numbered 9673 deposited
in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington;
then south-easterly to and along that boundary, and
north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 5
as shown on the plan numbered 9673 aforesaid, to a point
being the western corner of Lot 19 as shown on the plan
numbered 9673 aforesaid; thence south-easterly along the
south-western boundaries of Lots 19, 18, 17, 16,, and 15 as
shown on the plan numbered 9673 aforesaid, and continuing
south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Lots
59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, and 68 as shown on a
plan numbered 4484 deposited as aforesaid; thence north-
easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 68 as
shown on a plan numbered 4484 aforesaid, and the pro-
duction of that boundary to the middle of Surrey Road,
along the middle of that road to a point in line with the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 6 as shown on the plan
numbered 8032 deposited as aforesaid, to and along that
boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 7 as shown
on the plan numbered 8032 aforesaid, the south-eastern
boundary of Lot 32 as shown on the plan numbered 4484
aforesaid, and the production of that boundary to the
middle of Devon Road, along the middle of Devon Road to
a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Lot
13 as shown on the plan numbered 5965 deposited aforesaid,
to and along that boundary and its production to Jones
Avenue, along a right line across Jones Avenue to and
along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of
that part of Lot 1 as shown on deeds plan numbered 440
lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar at
Wellington. contained in certificate of title, Volume 390,
folio 294, Wellington Registry, to a point in line with the
north-western boundary of the land contained in certificate
of title, Volume 515, folio 195, Wellington Registry, to and
along that boundary and along the north-eastern boundary
of that land for a distance of 21·95 links along a right line
to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3 as shown on the
deeds plan numbered 440 aforesaid, to a point distant 264
links from Parsons Street, along the north-eastern boundary
of that lot to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary
of Lot 6 as shown on the deeds plan numbered 440 aforesaid,
to and along that boundary, a right line across Springvale
Road to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 6 as
shown on the plan numbered 6429 deposited as aforesaid,
a right line to and along the north-western boundaries of
Lots 12, 13, and 14 as shown on the plan numbered 6429
aforesaid, a right line to and along the north-western boun-
daries of Lots 15, 16, 17, and 18 as shown on the plan
numbered 6429 aforesaid, and the production of the last-
mentioned boundary to the south-western boundary of Lot
7 as shown on the plan numbered 12936 deposited as afore-
said, being a point on the boundary of the City of Wanganui
as described in Gazette 1955, at page 1159; thence south-
easterly and south-westerly to the intersection of the south-
eastern side of Parsons Street with the south-western side
of Carlton Avenue; thence south-westerly along the south-
eastern side of Parsons Street to its intersection with the
southern side of Fitzherbert Avenue, being a point on the
boundary of the City of Wanganui described as aforesaid;
thence westerly and north-westerly along the boundaries of
the City of Wanganui to a point on the south-western side
of Fox Road on the production of the middle line of Oxford
Road, being the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the
City of Wanganui as described in Gazette 1955, at page
1159, being a point on the north-western boundary of that
part of Section 227, Right Bank, Wanganui River, contained
in certificate of title, Volume 419, folio 112, Wellington
Registry; thence north-easterly along that boundary, the
north-western boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 as
shown on the plan numbered 4242 deposited in the office of
the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and the produc-
tion of the last-mentioned boundary to a point in line with
the north-eastern boundary of Lot 26 as shown on the plan
numbered 4242 aforesaid; thence south-easterly to and along
that boundary and its production to the intersection with a
line bearing 108° 31', the said intersection being a point on
the boundary of the City of Wanganui as described in Gazette
1955, at page 1159; thence westerly along that boundary to
a point on the north-western boundary of part Section 227
aforesaid, being the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, being
Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 3855 deposited in the
office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the City
of Wanganui as described in Gazette 1955, at page 1159, the
said point being on a line bearing 145° 23' and being the
northernmost corner of Lot 173 as shown on the plan num-
bered 3394 deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Wellington; thence north-easterly and south-
easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries
of the land as shown on the plan numbered 4166 deposited
as aforesaid, to the intersection of the last-mentioned boun-
dary with a line bearing 108° 31', being a point on the
boundary of the City of Wanganui as described in Gazette
1955, at page 1159; thence westerly and north-westerly along
the boundaries of the City of Wanganui to the northernmost
corner of Lot 173 aforesaid, being the point of commence-
ment.

Price Order No. 1648, New Zealand Lemons (Other Than
Meyer Lemons)
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price
Tribunal hereby makes the following Price Order:
-
This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1648, and
shall come into force on the 26th day of March 1956. -
(1) Price Order No. 1640* is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said price order shall not affect
the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto
committed before the coming into force of this order.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- (1) This order applies with respect to all New Zealand
grown lemons (other than Meyer lemons) sold by way of
retail.
(2) The provisions of this order as to maximum retail
prices shall apply notwithstanding that any such lemons are
sold otherwise than by weight.
