boundary of Section 2, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, across a public road and by the northern boundary of a
scenic reserve, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, to its
northernmost corner; thence south-westerly by a right line to
Trig. Station Z, situated in Block I, Urutawa East Survey
District; thence by a right line on a bearing of 199° 51' 52" for a distance of 29443.3 links to its intersection with the
southern boundary of Section 3, Block III, Urutawa East
Survey District; thence easterly by the southern boundary of
said Section 3 to the north-westernmost corner of Lot 1 of
Section 24, Block II, Motu Survey District; thence southwesterly by the north-western boundaries of said Lot 1 of
Section 24, Section 23, Block II, Motu Survey District, and
Whakapaupakihi No. 2 Block to Trig. Station Moutohora
149 on the boundary between Block XIV, Urutawa, and
Block II, Motu Survey Districts; thence southerly by a right
line to the north-westernmost corner of Motu No. 1 Block,
situated in Block II, Motu Survey District; thence southerly by a right line to Ppokaikiri Trig. Station, situated where the boundaries of Blocks I and II, Motu West, and
Block V, Motu Survey Districts meet; thence south-westerly
by a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 3, Block
XV, Moanui Survey District; again south-westerly by a right
line to the north-western corner of Block XIII, Moanui Survey District; thence south-easterly by a right line to Te Wana
Trig. Station, situated on the boundary between Block II,
Koranga West, and Block VI, Koranga Survey Districts;
then in a southerly and south-westerly direction by the
western and north-western boundaries of State forest and
Forest Reserve to the north-westernmost corner of Block
XVII, Waikaremoana Survey District (Trig. Station Pukenpuke); thence southerly generally by the western boundaries
of aforesaid Block XVII, and Block XVIII, Waikaremoana
Survey District, to the foreshore of Lake Waikaremoana;
then south-westerly generally by the foreshore of Lake
Waikaremoana to the north-westernmost corner of Block
XXV, Waiau Survey District; again south-westerly by the
western boundaries of said Block XXV, Sections 4 and 3,
Block V, Waiau Survey District, Lot 1, D.P. 4393, and part
Section 1, Block VIII, Mangahopai Survey District, to the
middle of the Waiau River; thence north-westerly generally
up the middle of the Waiau River to a point in line with the
north-western boundary of Maungataniwha Block, Block II,
Mangahopai Survey District; thence south-westerly to and
along that boundary to the middle of the Te Hoe Stream;
then down the middle of that stream to a point in line with
the northern boundary of Tataraakina Block; thence along a
right line to and along that boundary, and along the northern
boundaries of Tarawera and Umupapamaro Blocks to the
north-western corner of that last-mentioned block; thence
along a right line to Trig. Station No. 54 (Ngapouatu) in
Block XVI, Maruanui Survey District, along the northeasterly boundary of Wharetoto No. 6 Block, and down the
left banks of the Tirikahu Stream and the Rangitaiki River
to the northernmost corner of Wharetoto No. 9 Block, in
Block III, Maruanui Survey District; thence along the northwestern boundaries of the said No. 9 Block, and of Wharetoto
No. 8 Block, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of
Tauhara South A and B Blocks to Lake Taupo; thence along
a right line across that lake to the mouth of the Oruapuraho
River, in Block V, Karangahape Survey District, and up the
middle of that river, to and along the northern boundary of
the Hauhungaroa Block (now subdivided) to the eastern
boundary of the Rangitoto Tuhua Block, in Block XII, Tuhua
Survey District; thence northerly generally along the southeasterly and eastern boundaries of the subdivisions of the said
Rangitoto Tuhua Block which abuts its generally eastern boundary (passing through State Forest (Gazette 1935, page 581),
and Section 1, Block IX, Hurakia Survey District) to the
middle of the Ongarue River; thence along the generally eastern boundary of the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Court
District hereinbefore described, to the sea coast at Ngakuriahware, the point of commencement; and including Motiti,
Matakana, Motuhoa, Te Hapai, Mayor, White, and Whale
Islands, and the adjacent islands.
THE TAIRAWHITI MAORI LAND COURT DISTRICT
All that area of land within the Land Districts of Gisborne
and Hawke’s Bay bounded as follows: Commencing at a
point where the western boundary of Wharekahika Block
meets the mean high-water mark of the sea (Potikirua); then southerly generally by the western boundaries of
Wharekahika Block, Sections 1 and 2, Block X, Matakaoa
Survey District, and Tapatu Waitangirua 2D Block, State
forest, formerly Section 1 and Section 2, Block I, Mangaoparo
Survey District; thence westerly by the northern boundaries of
part Waiorongomai Block and a State forest to Pakira Trig.
Station, situated where the boundaries of Block I, Mangoaparo, and Blocks VII and VIII, Raukumara East Survey Districts meet; thence south-westerly by a right line to a point being the north-western corner of Maungaparahi Block, Block VII, Raukumara East Survey District;
then south-westerly by the north-western boundaries of said
Maungaparahi Block, Lots 1, 4, and 5, D.P. 2663, to Honokawa Trig. Station, situated at the south-western corner of
aforesaid Lot 5, D.P. 2663, Block X, Raukumara East Survey
District; thence south-westerly generally by a leading range
being the northern boundaries of Raukumara East and
Maungawaru Survey Districts to Purahotakaha Trig. Station,
situated on the common boundary between Block III, Maungawaru, and Block XV, Haparapara Survey Districts; thence
south-westerly by the north-western boundaries of Blocks III
and II, Maungawaru Survey District, to the middle of the
Motu River; thence up the middle of the Motu River to a
point situated on the common boundary between Blocks I,
Ngateretere, and II, Urutawa East Survey Districts, due east
of the south-easternmost corner of Whitikau 2A Block, situated
in Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District; thence due west by
a right line for a distance of 140 chains approximately to
aforesaid corner of Whitikau 2A Block; thence westerly generally by the northern side of a public road to a public road;
then northerly generally across a public road and by the
eastern side of a public road to a point in line with the northern
boundary of Section 8, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District;
then south-westerly across a public road and by the said
northern boundary, across a public road and by the northern
boundary of Section 3, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District,
to Trig. Station 769, situated on the boundary between
Block VII, Urutawa, and Block II, Urutawa East Survey Districts; thence north-westerly by the northern boundary of
aforesaid Section 3, to and across the Opotiki-Matawai via
Motu Main Highway No. 566, by the northern boundary of
Section 2, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, across a
public road and by the northern boundary of a
scenic reserve, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, to its
northernmost corner; thence south-westerly by a right line to
Trig. Station Z, situated in Block I, Urutawa East Survey
District; thence by a right line on a bearing of 199° 51' 52" for a distance of 29443.3 links, to its intersection with the
southern boundary of Section 3, Block III, Urutawa East
Survey District; thence easterly by the southern boundary of
said Section 3 to the north-westernmost corner of Lot 1 of
Section 24, Block II, Motu Survey District; thence southwesterly by the north-western boundaries of said Lot 1 of
Section 24, Section 23, Block II, Motu Survey District, and
Whakapaupakihi No. 2 Block to Trig. Station Moutohora

THE AOTEA MAORI LAND COURT DISTRICT
All that area in the South Auckland, Taranaki, Hawke's Bay,
and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing
at a point in the middle of the Mokau River on the shore of
the Tasman Sea; thence proceeding easterly generally along
the southern boundary of the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land
Court District hereinbefore described to the western boundary
of Waiariki Maori Land Court District hereinbefore described;
then southerly and easterly along the western and southern
boundaries of the last-mentioned district to the north-western
corner of the Umupapamaro Block in Block I, Tarawera
