Declaring Lands in Hawke’s Bay Land District Vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
Lot 2, D.P. 9142, being part Block 16, Patangata Crown Grant District, situated in the Borough of Waipawa: Area, 1 rood 9·8 perches, more or less. Part certificates of title, H.B. Volume 82, folio 222, and Volume 19, folio 224.

Also Lot 1, D.P. 7885, being part Section 1, Block VI, Kumeroa Village, situated in Block IX, Tahoraiti Survey District: Area, 32 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 126, folio 83.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of March 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 36·1 perches.
Being part Allotment 7, Parish of Waipareira.
Situated in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of Henderson, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39173.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked P.W.D. 149571 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of February 1956.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of March 1956.
