Land Taken for Police Purposes (Residence) in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of January 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 17 perches.
Being part Section 262, City of Wellington. All certificate of title, Volume 42, folio 170, Wellington Land Registry.
Situated in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of January 1956.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for State housing purposes, is hereby set apart for police purposes (residence) subject to notice of condition as to line of buildings or hoardings No. K. 36761, Wellington Land Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of January 1956.

Revoking Parts of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of Portions of the Wellington–Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of August 1925 and published in Gazette, 13 August 1925, Volume II, page 2409, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1544, defining the middle line of a portion of the Wellington–Napier Railway in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Land and Easement Taken for the Purpose of the Provision of a Water Supply and for Other Purposes in Connection Therewith in Block A1 Otakou Maori Reserve

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken and shall vest in the Otago Harbour Board for the purpose of the provision of a water supply for the Otago Harbour Board for use on its lands at Taiaroa Heads and for other purposes in connection therewith; and for the purposes of the said water supply I also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in the said Otago Harbour Board full and free right, liberty, and licence in perpetuity to lay, maintain, replace, and inspect a line of pipes and for such purposes to enter on the said last mentioned land either on foot or by horses or vehicles, and by means of the said pipes to convey water through, under, and across the said land described in the said Second Schedule; and I further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of January 1956.

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Kawhia and Waitomo Counties containing 1,601 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Section 4, Block VI, Marokopa Survey District, and Section 4, Block I, Maungamangero Survey District (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1920, page 2119). As shown on plan No. 43/8 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of December 1955.
