TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Streets Improvement Loan 1955, £10,000

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above Council held on the 19th day of December 1955, the following resolution was passed:

“In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorized to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconditioning and tar-sealing various streets within the Borough, the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and five-eighths of a penny (1⅝d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property within the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve (12) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE OF MEMBERS’ VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION


NOTICE is hereby given that Nukuroa Fruitlands Limited resolved on the 19th day of December 1955, by special resolution, that the company be wound up voluntarily. RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Municipal Office Replacement Loan 1955, £8,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Woodville Borough Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purposes of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorized to be raised by the Woodville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of municipal offices, the said Woodville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Woodville Borough (comprising the whole of the Borough of Woodville); and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of June and the 15th day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Municipal Office Replacement Loan 1955, £8,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Woodville Borough Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purposes of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorized to be raised by the Woodville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of municipal offices, the said Woodville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventy-seven hundredths of a penny (77/100d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Woodville Borough (comprising the whole of the Borough of Woodville); and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of April and the 15th day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

INEZ CREATIONS LIMITED


IN LIQUIDATION


NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 22nd day of December 1955 the following special resolution was duly passed:

“Resolved, that as the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue its business and it is advisable to wind up the same, the company go into voluntary liquidation forthwith, and that Mr Noel Barclay, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator.”

I hereby fix the 22nd day of January 1956 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Companies Act 1933, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Housing Construction Loan 1955 of £6,500

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf it enabling, the Waipawa Borough Council, at a meeting held in Waipawa on the 10th day of November 1955, resolved, and such resolutions was duly confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 8th day of December 1955, as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £6,500 authorized to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 for the purpose of erecting staff houses, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one decimal five pence (1·5d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Waipawa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

We hereby certify the above to be a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waipawa Borough Council at a meeting held on the 10th day of November 1955 and confirmed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 8th day of December 1955.
