Crown Land Set Apart for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes in Block V, Waimea Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set part for soil-conservation and river-control purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of February 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 3 acres 1 rood 8 perches.

Being Section 226, Square 2.

Situated in Block V, Waimea Survey District, Nelson R.D. (S.O. 9597.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145665 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of February 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for police purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of February 1955.

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 12th day of July 1954, to be road.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of August 1925 and published in Gazette, 13 August 1925, Vol. II, page 2409, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1544, defining the middle line of a portion of the Wellington-Napier railway in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 31·73 perches.

Being Lot 145, D.P. 15395, being part Section 63, Hutt District.

Situated in Block X, Belmont Survey District, City of Lower Hutt, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 578, folio 39, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of February 1955.
