Declaring Land in South Auckland Land District Vested in
the South Auckland Education Board as a Site for a
Public School to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained
in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to
time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of
a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for
that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon
the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall
vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educa-
tional trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of
the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education
Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her
Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educa-
tional trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART of the land on Deposited Plan No. 2268 and all the
land on Deposited Plan No. 18935, being parts Allotment 64,
Tahawai Parish, situated in Block V, Katikati Survey Dis-
trict: Area, 3 acres and 38·5 perches, more or less. All
certificate of title, Volume 449, folio 119.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
2nd day of February 1955.

Crown Land and Portion of a Public Reserve Set Apart for
Road in Block III, Egmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto
and the portion of public reserve described in the Second
Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 14th day of February 1955.

FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
3·5 perches.
Being part Mangamahoe Stream Bed; coloured sepia.

SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart:
1 rood 12·2 perches.
Being part section 25 (D.P. 258), Hua and Waiwakaiho
Hundred; coloured blue.
All situated in Block III, Egmont Survey District, Taranaki
R.D. (S.O. 8657.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145608
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 1st day of February 1955.
