The Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Rangitikei

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Rangitikei County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by two sections, as follows:

(1) Waiouru Township Section described in the Schedule hereto.

(2) The remainder of the County.

SCHEDULE

RANGITIKEI COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME (WAIORU TOWNSHIP SECTION)

ALL that area in the Rangitikei County bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Makiokio Stream at its intersection with the western side of the Waiouru-Turangi State Highway, being a point on the boundary of the Rangitikei County; thence proceeding due east for a distance of one mile, due south for a distance of two miles, and due west to the western side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, being a point on the western boundary of the Rangitikei County; thence northerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

(2) Rotorua East Section described in the Second Schedule hereto.

(3) Rotorua South Section: All that part of Rotorua County, excluding Rotorua West and Rotorua East Sections, described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

CERTIFICATE OF EXECUTION

I, ALAN ASHLEY SKINNER, the Medical Officer in attendance at the execution of Albert Lawrence Black at the prison of Auckland, do hereby certify and declare that I have this day witnessed the execution of the said Albert Lawrence Black at the said prison; and I do further certify and declare that the said Albert Lawrence Black was, in pursuance of the sentence of the Supreme Court, hanged by the neck until his body was dead.

Given under my hand this 5th day of December 1955 at the prison of Auckland.

DECLARATION OF EXECUTION

WE do hereby testify and declare that we have this day been present when the extreme penalty of the law was carried into execution on the body of Albert Lawrence Black, convicted at the criminal sittings of the Supreme Court held at Auckland on the 21st day of October last, and sentenced to death, and that the said Albert Lawrence Black was, in pursuance of the said sentence, hanged by the neck until his body was dead.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 11) 1955

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Import Control Regulations 1938,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 11) 1955.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 21st day of December 1955.

  1. Goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country other than the countries specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
