Altering the Boundaries of the Waitomo Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and section 31 of the Local Legislation Act 1955, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Waitomo Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Taupo County in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XVI, Wharepapa Survey District, being the junction of the left bank of the Waikato River with the middle of the Waipapa River, and running south-easterly generally up the left bank of the Waikato River aforesaid to the western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 21101, being part of Tatua West Block, in Block IX, Te Atiamuri Survey District; thence southerly along that western boundary, along a right line across a public road to and along the western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 22337, being part of the aforesaid Tatua West Block, along the western boundaries of part Lot 7 on D.P. 21101 aforesaid and Lot 8 on D.P. 21102, both lots being parts of the said Tatua West Block, and along another right line across a public road to and along the western boundaries of Lots 13, 14, and 15 on D.P. 21102 aforesaid, the said Lots being parts of Tatua West Block, and along the western boundaries of Lot 3 on D.P. 29531 and Lot 2 on D.P. 21103 and D.P. 21104, both being parts of Whangamata No. 1 Block, to the northern shores of Lake Taupo; thence westerly generally along those shores to the eastern boundary of Waihaha (3D 1 and 3E 4) C Block in Block XIV, Marotiri Survey District; thence northerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of the King Country Electric Power District, as described in the Proclamation published in Gazette No. 61, of the 18th day of September 1952, at page 1513, to and along the eastern boundary of the Waitomo Electric Power District as described in the Proclamation published in Gazette No. 54, of the 24th day of August 1950, at page 1616, to the Waikato River, the point of commencement.
As the said area is more particularly shown outlined in red on the plan marked S.H.D. 378 deposited in the Office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of December 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of December 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Adam Boote, of Runanga, miner, under and by virtue of renewable lease under Part III of the Land Act 1924, and the Mining Act 1926, No. 1033 (Volume 42, folio 38, Westland Registry), is hereby taken for the purposes of the Greymouth—Point Elizabeth Railway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of December 1955.

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being Section 4, Block XVIII, Town of Runanga, Borough of Runanga; also all that parcel of land containing 4·5 perches, more or less, being part Section 10, Block XVIII, Town of Runanga, Borough of Runanga, the said parcels of land being all the land comprised and described in Renewable Lease No. 1033 (Volume 42, folio 38, Westland Registry).
