NOTICE is hereby given that Goss Timber and Box Company Limited on the 7th day of December 1955 passed the following special resolution:

“That that company be wound up voluntarily, and that Kenneth Randolph Jordan, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

The liquidator doth hereby fix the 20th day of January 1956 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for Akatarawa-Maoribank (Hutt County) was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 24th day of November 1955 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of, and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed, and all variations of the scheme required by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.

The Council also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1956.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office, in every public library in the district, and at the Maoribank Tea-rooms, and may be inspected (without fee) by any person who so requires at any time when those places are open to the public.
