RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Transfers

Flight Lieutenant John Benjamin BRAZIER (130827) is transferred from the General Duties Branch, Territorial Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of four years with effect from 15 October 1955.

Pilot Officer (temp.) Arthur William Charles READ (133482) is transferred from the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), Territorial Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of four years with effect from 9 July 1955.

Terminations of Commissions

The commissions of the undermentioned officers are terminated with effect from 10 November 1955:

Flight Lieutenant John McDonald KENNEDY (133492).

Flying Officer Gordon Trevor KING (131876).

Resignation of Commission

Flying Officer Horace Robin Keith GOODIER (130885) resigns his commission with effect from 16 November 1955.

Appointing the Hillend Public Hall Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

Appointing a Commission to Inquire Into the Constitution of the Pukekohe Underground Water Area (Pukekohe Borough Council)

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Underground Water Act 1953, the Minister of Works hereby appoints

Frank Felix Reid, Esquire, of Wellington, Stipendiary Magistrate,

Horace Edwin Tyfe, of Wellington, Chief Geologist, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, and

Harry Lancelot Hume, of Wellington, Civil Engineer, Ministry of Works,

to be a Commission of which the said Frank Felix Reid shall be Chairman:

(a) To inquire into the proposals of the Pukekohe Borough Council relating to the constitution of all the Borough of Pukekohe and portion of the Franklin County as an underground water area and the constitution of the Pukekohe Borough Council as the Underground Water Authority for that area;

(b) To consider all objections and appeals lodged in respect of those proposals; and

(c) To report to me not later than the 31st day of May 1956 in accordance with subsection (4) of the said section 4 of the Underground Water Act.
