HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 7th day of July 1954, published in Gazette, 8 July 1954, Volume II, page 1105, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 401545, authorizing the laying off of an extension of Wallace Street, in the City of Christchurch, part of which is now known as Hudson Street, by varying the condition as to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan referred to in the said Order in Council as P.W.D. 143595 within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre lines of the said streets.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Matamata County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 3 roods 6ยท4 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Lot 3 and part Lot 2, D.P. 11917, being part Maungatautari No. 2 Block.

Situated in Block III, Maungatautari Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 35196.)

In the South Auckland Land District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148861 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the persons for the time being holding the offices of

Assistant Conservator of Forests, New Zealand Forest Service, Nelson,

Commissioner of Crown Lands, Department of Lands and Survey, Blenheim,

District Commissioner of Works, Ministry of Works, Wellington,

shall be non-elective members of the Marlborough Catchment Board.

Amending Orders in Council Authorizing the Raetihi Borough Council to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity and to Erect and Maintain Electric Lines

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of December 1955

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council specified in the First Schedule hereto in so far as the said Order in Council authorizes the Raetihi Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) to erect and maintain electric lines but not in so far as it authorizes the licensee to use water for the purpose of generating electricity; and also hereby further amends the Order in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto by revoking clause 1 of the Schedule thereto and substituting the following clause therefor:

"1. AREA OF SUPPLY

"The area of supply shall comprise the Borough of Raetihi as constituted at the date hereof and part of the Waimarino County, being Blocks X, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Mangani Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, VI, VII, IX, X, XI, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, and portions of Blocks III, IV, VIII, and XII, Makotuku Survey District, the said area being more particularly shown edged red on the plan marked S.H.D. 367 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington."

FIRST SCHEDULE

THE Order in Council dated the 19th day of March 1917 and published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of the same month, authorizing the licensee to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and maintain electric lines, as amended by the Orders in Council referred to hereunder:
