INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hokianga County Council proposes under the provisions of the above Act to execute a certain public work, namely, for a road, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Offices of the County Clerk to the said Council situated in Parnell Street, Rawene, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the County Chambers, Parnell Street, Rawene.

SCHEDULE

All situated in Block XII, Mangamuka Survey District, in the County of Hokianga.

INTENTION TO CLOSE PORTIONS OF ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hokianga County proposes under the provisions of the above Act to close the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said portions of road proposed to be closed is deposited in the Public Offices of the County Clerk to the said Council situated in Parnell Street, Rawene, and may be inspected there (without fee) during office hours.

All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing, and send the same on or before the 31st day of January 1956 (being a date not less than forty days from the first publication of this notice) to the County Clerk at the County Chambers, Parnell Street, Rawene.

SOUTH AUCKLAND CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED

CREDITORS' VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP

AT a meeting of the creditors of the company held on the 5th day of December 1955, Noel Alan Challis, of Otorohanga, Public Accountant, was appointed liquidator of the company.

Notice to Creditors to Prove

The liquidator of South Auckland Concrete Construction Company Limited does hereby fix the 31st day of December 1955 as the day on or before which creditors of the company have to prove their claims or debts and to establish priority (if any) under section 258 of the Companies Act 1933, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before such claims or debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objection to such distribution.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

Creditors' Voluntary Winding-up

NOTICE is hereby given that on 6 December 1955 by a memorandum signed for the purpose of becoming an entry in the minute book of the company, as provided by subsections (i) and (iii) of section 300 of the Companies Act 1933, it was resolved that the company is unable to pay its debts and that it be wound up voluntarily, and that George William Brown, Official Assignee, Christchurch, be appointed provisional liquidator, and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the said Act, at the office of the Official Assignee, Malings Building 184 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, on Thursday, 15 December 1955, at 2.15 o'clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.
