Revocation of Appointment of Upper Riccarton Domain
Board and Appointment of New Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the
Upper Riccarton Domain Board as published in Gazette, 19
July 1951, Volume II, page 1010, and appoints the Waimairi
County Council to be the Upper Riccarton Domain Board to
have control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto,
subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.

RESERVE 3926: Area, 6 acres 3 roods, more or less. All Con-

Appointing the Thames County Council to Control and
Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Thames County
Council to control and manage the reserve described in the
Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as
a reserve for a holiday camp site for youth or community
organizations, subject to the following special conditions:

(a) The Council may, at its discretion, make the land and
buildings erected thereon available for use by recog-
nized youth or community organizations for holiday
camp or health camp purposes, and may make rea-
sonable charges for the use thereof.

(b) The Council shall take all necessary steps to adequately
maintain the land and buildings erected thereon,
without recourse to the Crown for financial assistance.

(c) No trees or bush to be cut or destroyed.

PURSUANT to the Timber Preservation Regulations 1955,

to be chairman of the Timber Preservation Authority; and
