A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 3·2 perches.

Adjoining Section 12 and part Section 14, Block XIII and Section 17, Block IX, Pongaroa Township.

Situated in Block IX, Mount Cerberus Survey District, Akito County. (S.O. 23378.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148830 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of December 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed for defence purposes.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 5 acres 1 rood 5 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Allotment 394, Parish of Waipareira, and Lots 1 to 16 (both inclusive), part Lots 17 and 18, Lots 19 to 29 (both inclusive), part Lot 62, Lots 63, 64, and 65, parts Landing Reserve on D.P. 8956, Lots 1 to 5 (both inclusive), 9, 10, 11, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 37, 43, 45, 47, 49, and Plantation Reserve on D.P. 19725, and Lot 1 on D.P. 961, being parts Allotment 12, Parish of Waipareira, and Closed Roads in Proclamations Nos. 9965 and 11806.

Situated in Blocks VII and XI, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 36723.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148804 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land, being closed road, described in the First Schedule hereto to be added to the land, taken for a public school, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the closed road: 3 roods 23·4 perches.

Being closed road in Proclamation No. 14716, Auckland Land Registry, Gazette, 29 September 1955, No. 61, page 1565.

SECOND SCHEDULE

LAND TAKEN FOR A PUBLIC SCHOOL

An area of approximately 4 acres 1 rood 35·3 perches, being all the land in Proclamation No. 14715, Auckland Land Registry.

Authorizing Donald Simpson and Arthur Simpson, Both of Karamu, Farmers, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Buller

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 7th day of December 1955

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Donald Simpson and Arthur Simpson, both of Karamu, Farmers (hereinafter referred to as the licensees), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be a direct-current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1976 or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or some other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensees’ powerhouse and proceeding:

(a) In a north-westerly direction to a house.

(b) In a south-westerly direction to a second house.

(c) In a south-easterly direction to a third house.

All being situated in part Section 17, Square 152, Block XIV, Oparara Survey District, in the County of Buller.

The said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 372 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
