- The boundaries in the Wharopuhunga-Korakonui Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 4th day of November 1935,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WHAROPUHUNGA-KORAKONUI RABBIT BOARD
ALL that area of approximately 57,375 acres in the Counties of Otorohanga and Waipa, in the South Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XI, Punui Survey District, being the junction of the right bank of the Mangatutu Stream and the left bank of the Punui River, and running easterly generally up that bank of the Punui River, up the left bank of the Owairaka Stream, and up the left bank of the Kaiwhio Stream, to the Rotongata Road; thence westerly along the northern side of that road, and again westerly along the northern side of Wharepapa Road, to the left bank of the Punui River aforesaid; thence southerly generally up that left bank to the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Wharepapa Survey District, and westerly along that northern boundary, and the northern boundaries of Sections 19 and 23 of the said Block IX, crossing the intervening public road, to and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Mangatutu River; thence down that right bank to a point in Block V, Wharepapa Survey District, in line with the generally northern boundary of part Rangitoto A No. 5 Block; thence along a right line to and along that boundary, and along another right line being that boundary produced to the western side of Mangatutu Road; thence again southerly generally along that side of the said road, and along the western side of the public road forming the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto A No. 6 B Block, Section 11, Block VIII, Mangaorongo Survey District, and Sections 10 and 22, Block XII, Mangaorongo Survey District aforesaid, to and along the northern and western boundaries of Section 9, Block IX, Wharepapa Survey District, to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 25 and 24, Block XII aforesaid, crossing the intervening public road, and along the western boundary of the said Section 24, to and along the western side of the public road forming part of the eastern boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 11788, being part Rangitoto A No. 18A 2c Block, forming part of the north-eastern boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 11788 aforesaid, being part of the said A No. 18A 2c Block, and forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 12, Block XII aforesaid, and the north-eastern and southern boundaries of Section 34 of the said Block XII, to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 14 of Block XII aforesaid; thence along a right line to and along that north-eastern boundary, and the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Section 14, to the right bank of the Tauraroa Stream; thence north-westerly generally down that right bank, and down the right bank of the Waipa River, to the south-eastern side of the public road forming the north-western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 33C 3s 2A Block in Block VI, Mangaorongo Survey District; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that road, which intersects Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 33C 3s 2a Block, and forms the north-western boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 33C 3s 4s 3c Block, to and along the south-eastern side of the road forming the western boundary of Section 15 of Block VI aforesaid, and the north-western boundaries of Lots 1 (being part of Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 29C 2s 1 and 29C 2s 2 Blocks) and 2 (being part of the said No. 29C 2s 2 Block), D.P. 27641, and the western and north-western boundaries of Mangaorongo A No. 1 Block and the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 14050, being part Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 29C 2s 3A Block, to and up the middle of the Mangaorongo Stream, to and along the northern side of the Maihihi Road to the north-eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 15E 2 Block; thence northerly generally along that north-eastern boundary, to and along the southern boundaries of Sections 12s, 11s, and 10s, Pukemapou Settlement, and the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of Rangitoto A No. 52C Block, to its north-western corner; thence along a right line to and along the eastern boundaries of Sections 8s, 7s, and 6s, Pukemapou Settlement aforesaid, and along another right line to and along the western boundaries of Sections 4 and 3, Block III, Mangaorongo Survey District, the eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 23759, being part Rangitoto A No. 2A 1 Block, part Rangitoto A No. 1 Block shown on D.P. 12831, and Rangitoto (A 1a and A 1b 2) No. 5s Block, and along the northern boundary of the last-mentioned Block, to and along the eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 58B 2s Block, to the southern boundary of the Tokanui Mental Hospital Reserve; thence easterly along that southern boundary, and the southern boundaries of part Tokanui C No. 17B Block, Section 7, Block XV, Punui Survey District, another part of the Tokanui Mental Hospital Reserve aforesaid, and the Waikeria Reformatory Reserve, crossing the intervening public roads, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Mangatutu Stream; thence again northerly down that right bank to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Kawhia Rabbit District Order 1955.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Kawhia Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of September 1947,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE KAWHIA RABBIT BOARD
ALL that area of approximately 61,200 acres in the South Auckland Land District in the Kawhia, Raglan, and Otorohanga Counties bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of Makomako Road on the line between the south-eastern corner of Section 19, and the south-western corner of Lot 2 of Section 18, both of Block XIV, Kariri Survey District, and running generally easterly along a right line, across the Makomako Stream, to and along the generally southern boundaries of Lot 2 of Section 18 aforesaid, and Lot 2 of Section 7, Block XV, Kariri Survey District, and along the generally northern boundary of the Kawhia County as described in Gazette of the 28th day of August 1952, page 1410, No. 57, to Trig. Station No. 1922 (Mahaukura), in Block III, Pirongia Survey District; thence southerly generally along the generally eastern boundary of the aforesaid Kawhia County, to and along the south-western boundaries of Sections 4 and 6, both of Block VI, Pirongia Survey District, crossing the intervening public road, along the abutment of a public road, and the south-western boundary of Section 12, Block VI aforesaid, to and along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 22, Block X, Pirongia Survey District, the south-western boundary of Waiwhakata No. 3s 4s 2 Block, along a right line across a public road, to and along the western boundary of Waiwhakata A No. 2 Block, to and along the northern and western boundaries of Section 17, and the western boundary of Section 19, both of Block X aforesaid, to and down the right bank of the Ngutunui Stream, to and up the left bank of the Moakurara Stream to the generally northern side of Oronga Road in Block XIV, Pirongia Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along that northern side, to and along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 2, on D.P. 35098, being part Section 1, Block II, Orahiri Survey District, the northern boundary of Lot 1 on the aforesaid D.P. 35098, being part of the said Section 1, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road, to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 1 and the northern boundary of Section 9, both of Block I, Orahiri Survey District, to the westernmost corner of Section 14, Block XIII, Pirongia Survey District; thence along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to and along the generally northern side of a public road, to and along the generally eastern and northern sides of Kihi Road, to and down the left bank of the Te Kauri Stream and along the shores of the Kawhia Harbour, to and up the left bank of the Oparau River, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Pirongia West No. 3s 2s 1 Block, in Block VII, Kawhia North Survey District; thence along a right line to the south-eastern corner of the said No. 3s 2s 1 Block, and along the generally eastern boundary of that block, the eastern and northern boundaries of Pirongia West No. 3s 2s 2 Block, to and along the generally eastern boundary of Pirongia West No. 3s 2s 3 Block, to and along the generally eastern boundary of Pirongia West No. 3s 2s 2r Block, to and along the generally southern and north-eastern boundaries of Pirongia West No. 3s 2s 2p Block, the eastern boundary of Pirongia West No. 3s 2s 2c Block, to and along the generally southern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2 of Section 3, Block III, Kawhia North Survey District, to and along the eastern boundary of part Moerangi No. 3p 2 Block, and a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Makomako Road aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to the point of commencement.
