Portion of a Public Reserve Set Apart for a Courthouse in
the Borough of Gore

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a courthouse; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of December 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the portion of public reserve set apart: 31·2 perches, being Section 4 (formerly part Section 2).

Situated in Block IX, Town of Gore, Borough of Gore, Southland R.D. (S.O. 6231.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148693 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of November 1955.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water power (substation); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of December 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the portion of public reserve set apart: 2·14 perches.

Being Section 3 (formerly part Section 2).

Situated in Block IX, Town of Gore, Borough of Gore, Southland R.D. (S.O. 6231.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148693 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

District Reconstituted Under the Marriage Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Marriage Act 1908, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Mangapehi and Whangarei Districts, and proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby reconstituted one marriage district, the name and boundaries whereof shall be as follows; and I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the 1st day of December 1955.

WHANGAREI DISTRICT

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Hikurangi River at its intersection by a straight line between Te Tarahorahiri Trig. Station in Block V, Mangakahia Survey District, and the north-eastern corner of Section 23, Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly down the middle of the Hikurangi River to and along the southern boundary of Block IV, Mangakahia Survey District, the road forming the south-western boundaries of Sections 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block VIII, Mangakahia Survey District, and the southern boundaries of original Sections 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, and 5, Block II, Purua Survey District, to the Wairua River, up that river to the north-eastern boundary of Ruatangata Parish, south-easterly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Section 19, Block VII, Purua

Survey District, along the generally southern boundaries of Section 20, Block VII, aforesaid, the north-western boundaries of Maketawa and Maungarei Blocks, the northern boundaries of Maungarei and Ngamotu Blocks and Section 22, Block V, Purua Survey District, across a railway and road, along the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 37, Block V, aforesaid, the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 37 and Sections 83, 84, and 85, Block VII, Purua Survey District, to the southernmost corner of Section 40, Block VII, aforesaid, along the south-eastern boundary of that Section to and across the Mangakino Stream, along the generally southern boundaries of Museum Endowment and Kopuatoete Block to and down the Ngunguru River to the sea coast, southerly generally along the sea coast to and along the north-eastern shore of Whangarei Harbour to Reserve Point in Block III, Ruakaka Survey District, southerly along a straight line to One Tree Point on the southern Shore of Whangarei Harbour, westerly along that shore to and southerly along the generally western boundaries of Ruakaka and Waipu Parishes, westerly along the generally northern boundaries of Mareretu, Matakohe, and Omaru Parishes, northerly along the generally eastern boundaries of Omaru and Okahu Parishes to the Tauraroa River, up that river to and along the road forming the generally eastern boundaries of Sections 71, 70, 4, 49, 127, 126, and 125, Maungakaramea Parish, to the boundary of the last-mentioned Parish, north-westerly and south-westerly along that Parish boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 7A, Block I, Tangihua Survey District, westerly along the road forming the northern boundaries of Sections 7A, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, Block I, aforesaid, passing through Pukepukerau Block and Section 8, Block IV, Maungaru Survey District, and forming the northern boundary of Section 10, Block IV, aforesaid, to its intersection with a straight line between Trig. Station No. 41 (Tangihua) in Block VIII, Maungaru Survey District, and Trig. Station No. 18 (Te Tarahorahiri) in Block V, Mangakahia Survey District, thence north-westerly along that line to Trig. Station No. 18 and north-easterly along a straight line in the direction of the north-eastern corner of Section 23, Block IX, Hikurangi Survey District, to the Hikurangi River, the point of commencement.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 25·2 perches.

Being Lot 32, D.P. 1932, being part Section 7, Evans Bay District. Part certificate of title, Volume 202, folio 199, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

SCHEDULE

ALL those parcels of land containing 6 acres, more or less, being parts Sections 106 and 107, Forest Hill Hundred, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 33, folio 121, Southland Registry.
