FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THE following resolution was passed by the Feilding Borough Council at a meeting held on the 6th day of October 1955:

“That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on the Water Supply Loan of £32,400 authorized to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a high-level reservoir, installing a supply main, and replacing and enlarging the East Street main, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes and levies a rate of fifty-seven one-hundredths of a penny (57/100d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Tauranga Water Supply Development Loan 1954, £220,000—Second Issue, £10,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £10,000 authorized to be raised by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a supply of water to the Borough of Mount Maunganui, and for the provision of land, easements, plant, and buildings ancillary to the establishment of such supply, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven sixty-fourths pence (7/64d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the Borough of Mount Maunganui; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council held on the 15th of November 1955.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Plant Loan 1955

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Counties Act 1920, and amendments thereto respectively, and all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,000 authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under authority of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 for the purpose of purchasing plant to assist in carrying out the Council’s road re-construction and sealing programme, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine thirty-seconds of one penny (9/32d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Otorohanga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eight (8) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at an ordinary meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 17th day of October 1955.

Roads Re-construction and Sealing Loan 1954

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Counties Act 1920, and amendments thereto respectively, and all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £50,000 authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under authority of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 for the purpose of finding Council’s share of the cost of re-constructing and sealing main highways and county roads within the County of Otorohanga, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and one twenty-fourths of a penny (1¹/₂₄d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Otorohanga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

RESOLVED, “That, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereby enabling, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorized to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural
