CORRIGENDA
IN the notice releasing land from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Pukehina Development Scheme), published in the Gazette on 12 May 1955, at page 777, for “300 acres and 33 perches” read “524 acres 1 rood 11 perches.”

IN the notice published in Gazette, 20 October 1955, page 1657, No. 64, under the heading “Licences Issued to Wholesalers Under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33, Have been Cancelled”, for the words “Burning, Leo (N.Z.), Ltd.”, read “Buring Leo (N.Z.), Ltd.” and for “Hutton Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Francis William Hutton, trading as)”, read “Hutton Manufacturing (Francis William Hutton, trading as)”.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 1st day of September 1936, and published in Gazette, 10 September 1936, Vol. III, page 1709, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SECTION 10, Block VII, Waro Survey District: Area, 129 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plans 2974 and 4512.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of November 1955.

Declaring Land in South Auckland Land District Vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
